Dr. Helene Goldsmith, a seasoned professional in the field of counseling psychology, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role at Stillwater Counseling Services. With a Bachelor’s degree from Claflin University, a Master’s Degree from Webster University, and a Doctoral Degree in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University, Dr. Goldsmith is well-equipped to navigate the complexities of mental health care.

Dr. Goldsmith's dissertation, titled “Participants Perception of a 26-week Batterer’s Intervention Program,” reflects her dedication to understanding and addressing critical issues within the field. Holding licenses as an addiction counselor, professional counselor, and professional counselor supervisor in South Carolina, she has honed her skills over 18 years in the clinical counseling and human services arena, including 11 years in private practice.

While Dr. Goldsmith's expertise is widely sought after, she is currently not accepting clients , as she devotes her time to supervising Associate Level clinicians at Stillwater Counseling Services. Her commitment to mentoring the next generation of practitioners underscores her passion for advancing the field.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Goldsmith has played a pivotal role in shaping mental health services on both public and private fronts. She has collaborated with healthcare agencies to evaluate and implement programs, from pioneering tele-psychiatry initiatives to enhancing protocols and services in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
